follow-up

So, I was going to blog about how Thanksgiving is a "mixed-feeling" holiday and how my aunt passed away last year due to an aggressive type of breast cancer, but that seemed like a little too much to swallow.

A lot has been going on lately, and this break came at the perfect time.

1) Night at the Wax Museum Closed
I am thrilled the play is over, not that I didn't love every minute of it, I did. It was just time consuming. Honestly, I was surprised by how well it turned out. It was really a big learning lesson for how to design the musical and I know what NOT to do now! But overall, Drama Club raised around $2,000 for profit. Usually it's only around 700.
You're welcome.

2) Basketball Started (CYO 4 LYFEE)
Not that big of a deal but some exerise is finally getting into my system. Practice once a week (if that) for like 2 hours. And games on Sunday <3 And hahaha shockingly, my team is awesome.
CYO Diocese champions last year, nbd right?

3) Saving Lives at Work
Um so I'm a difference maker. <3 Realized something was weird with the porkchops, called the main kitchen, they told me to temp it: porkchops were at like 100 and they need to be at 135 to eat. It wasn't the chef's fault though, one of the main ovens freaked out so that's why, I don't blame Pritt at all.
Basically, I saved everyone from samonella.

4) Black Friday, Yeah!
I love love love love love Black Friday. Nothing's better than shopping midnight to 6 and then going to work at 3. I am SO glad that I don't work at a clothing store. But I got a lot of my Christmas shopping done! And I got this crepe-sandwich type of thing, it was delicious.
There's nothing climatic about that story.

Here's a cute fall play pic from woodard!
